High on that list is Norwegian Cruise Line itself. Had I not had such a wonderful first contact with one of their Personal Cruise Consultants, I MIGHT have missed the opportunity to get to know and love Norwegian. Maira, wherever you are, you did well and set an excellent example of the exceptional customer service I've come to know and love.
Throughout the year I've had the honor of corresponding or working with a good many people from Norwegian Cruise Line, everyone from Mr Sheehan, himself, to the officers and crew aboard the Star. (Thanks again, Jackie, you made that Let's Do Lunch something truly memorable for me!)
But I would be in serious remiss if I didn't mention a few other people who have also gone above and beyond in getting me to the place where it was even POSSIBLE for me to win this cruise. Dave Holman and Michele Bridges are in the forefront of that list of people. They are always available to me to help guide me to be the best I can be. Trust me when I tell you that I've sent more than my fair share of dumb questions, but have never felt badly for doing so.
I also send warm and sincere thanks to the Facebook community where I not only have the joy of speaking with old friends, but I've also had the honor of meeting some very dear new friends as well. You all know who you are and how much I appreciate your being in my life, but Sue, Penny, and Sherry all deserve a shout out. You girls keep me laughing!
My biggest thanks of all go out to my husband and children. Their support and excitement FOR me has meant the difference between darkness and light. I'm so happy I have a home filled with light and happiness. I swear they switched babies on us at the hospital and I couldn't be happier!
Anyway, the point is, please never think -- not even for a moment -- that as I plan this upcoming Transatlantic Cruise, that I don't do it with full appreciation and respect for the honor and the people who made it happen...
