Sure, that may sound like quite a bit, and it is, but when it comes to offering up various travel opportunities to my clients, I'm up for the challenge. And a challenge it is. I won't lie. I've never hosted a webinar before, and while everyone I know who has says it's really very easy, they're likely not as technologically challenged as I.
Just for example, when I set up my Go To Webinar account yesterday, I made a mistake. Granted, it was an easy mistake to make, but if I hadn't taken the time to set things up almost a full two weeks prior to the first webinar, it could have been disastrous down the line. Don't let my inexperience deter you though. I have plenty of time to practice and I promise I will.
The important thing, though, is that we're set. I have my Go To Webinar account and my November speakers all scheduled. So, here goes, the speaking schedule for November is as follows:
November 3: Holland America Line and Alaska. HAL has been cruising to Alaska since before it was even a state. To say they have experience in this destination is a gross understatement! Our speaker is Karen Seiler of Holland America and Seabourn. She will also be hosting another webinar later in the series to introduce y'all to Seabourn as well. My understanding is that there may be some special offer for webinar attendees, so if you've ever thought of either HAL or Alaska, it may behoove you to register!
November 10: Ntaba African Safaris. This is the tour that started the series. Robin and Stella Mountain have a long history of offering guided tours of Africa. Their works in Africa go beyond tourism and hint towards the philanthropic. I personally went from saying I would never consider Africa for my own travel ambitions to putting it on my bucket list and wanting everyone I've ever known to hear about it too! That, my friends, says quite a bit about both the destination and the speakers!
November 17: Viking River Cruises' very own Laurie Smith will offer up all the delights River Cruising and the exclusive destinations they can offer. Viking's Long Ships navigate ports that traditional Ocean Cruise Lines simply cannot. Viking provides an intimate cruising experience with a class of service unique to the line. With so many itineraries to choose from, many Viking cruisers are repeaters!
November 24 is Thanksgiving, so no webinar that week, but we'll be back on December 1.
I again invite everyone to visit, Like and Follow my Facebook business page: https://www.facebook.com/NancyGilliardTravel for updates and further information!
Remember, space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. If you cannot make a webinar for some reason, no worries, they will be recorded for future reference. (Disclaimer: the content will be available, but any offers made by presenters may not be. It will be on a case-by-case basis, depending on the presenter.)
I look forward to seeing you there!
